Hello, I recently bought a kodak z1275 ez share camera for taking bike photos for Carolina Biker News. Im having troulbe with the software that came with it. Any ideas what a good software would be? Photoshop or something like that. my main problem is adjusting the color, size etc. as well as sending it by email. Thanks for any help! CMAdrew in Columbia.

Photoshop is great and can do pretty much anything you want, but its pretty expensive. I have heard alot about the program GIMP but have not personally tried it. It is free and has most of the same abilities as Photoshop.
Check out some of these:

I use Picture It 2000 for my photos and can do most anything I need to. Correcting things, removing things, printing, etc and it is VERY user friendly. Once your photos are on your computer (Like in windows explorer files) you just bring them in to this program, then you have the option as to how to save it. Including the option to save for later e-mail which is where you can reduce the size of the file to medium for easier posting. There is a newer Picture It but quite honestly not as easy as the 2000 edition. Good luck & let me know if you find one that works good and is easy!

There may be a program already on your computer that will convert alot of pictures at one time. The one I use most is Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 starter edition. Did your camera come with a Kodak EZ share program? You are looking for something that says you can share your files and you tell it to share for e-mail. It will then give you options about the size file to save and I save as medium size. Until you find a program that will work, if you open a picture in Paint (which is usually on all computers under all programs/accessories) you can reduce the size by using the tab at the top for Image, then stretch/skew. Put in 50% in the top 2 boxes (Under Stretch), then save the file. It should be a good size to email. This takes a while because you have to do each picture individually where as the Adobe and such does a whole folder, then you just choose the pictures you want and attach them. Hope this helps some. Maybe someone else has some other ideas.
