The Weaverville Police Department is hosting its third annual "Cops for Kids" Bike Run. The bike run is used to raise money to help the needy children in the Weaverville and North Buncombe area during the Christmas season. Registration starts at 9:30 am and the run begins at 11:30 AM.
Cost to participate is a new toy worth at least $10.00 or a monetary donation of at least $10.00 per person. FREE breakfast and lunch provided. Hundreds of dollars worth of door prizes. The run stages at the O.T.S. parking lot at 220 Merrimon Avenue in Weaverville.
